Congressional Publications
The U.S. Congress produces a number of publications on U.S.
foreign policy. Congressional publications are
important resources because Congress is responsible for funding and overseeing U.S. foreign policy programs
with U.S. Senate publications being particularly important because of the Senate's constitutional responsi-
bility for approving treaties with foreign countries and the confirmation of officials such as the Secretary of
