- American Philological Association (APA) The principal learned society in North America for the study of ancient Greek and Roman languages, literatures, and civilizations. While the majority of its members are university and college Classics teachers, members also include scholars in other disciplines, primary and secondary school teachers, and interested lay people.
- Association of Ancient Historians (AAH) is the largest organization in North America that is devoted exclusively to promoting teaching and scholarship in ancient history.”
- American Classical League (ACL) is devoted to the study of Greek and Latin classical literature.
- American Society of Papryologists (ASP) was founded . . . to further the study of ancient Greek and Latin papyri and of the materials contained in them. The Society supports and encourages research in the field, the teaching of the discipline, and international cooperation by scholars in the field.”

- Perseus Digital Library located in the Dept. of Classics, Tufts University. Perseus is an evolving digital library, engineering interactions through time, space, and language; primary goal is to bring a wide range of source materials to as large an audience as possible.
- University of California Press eScholarship Editions, Provides online editions of books for educational study.
