About Hicks Undergraduate Library

The Undergraduate Library opened to the public in the Summer of 1982, following a student-supported campaign which was guided by Purdue University Executive Assistant and legislative lobbyist, Dr. John W. Hicks. Originally conceived and designed as an introductory library for incoming students, the Undergraduate Library has always endeavored to serve the "greater Purdue community."

Our Mission Statement describes our beliefs and standards of service.
